This program includes situational awareness, training and education, decision making and continuity of operations support in concert with existing emergency and growth management plans. All services will comply with and conform to the National Response Plan, National Incident Management System, industry standards as well as state and local emergency plans.

Our Outsourced Emergency Manager services include:

Provide a Professional Emergency Manager, either on-site or in constant contact, for consultation and emergency response during threats of manmade, natural disasters (e.g. tropical cyclones) and other threats.
Provide access to a Professional Emergency Manager for routine emergency management matters for planning, coordination with state and local officials and supervision of emergency management plans as directed.
Provide and coordinate an Emergency Response Team (ERT) for continuity of operations.
Provide short and long term recovery assistance to include PA and IA.

Emergency Planning

Specific risk analysis for the unique characteristics of agency.
Recommended information updates to existing emergency plans, checklists, operational objectives, and milestones.
Recommended updates to assure consistency with local and State plans and procedures.
Recommended updated information to existing recovery plan in concert with Local, State and Federal recovery procedures for declared disasters that are consistent with Public Assistance (PA) and Individual Assistance (IA) requirements.

Twenty-four hour monitoring of tropical cyclone activity during the Atlantic Basin Hurricane Season, to including the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean Sea.
Tropical cyclone consulting from leading experts in emergency management and hurricane meteorology.
Daily electronic e-mail Bulletins and Special Reports during tropical cyclone activity.
Electronic e-mail ALERTs in concert with the National Hurricane Center's forecast containing specific recommendations for protective actions.
Internet services to include a Web page, linked to the agencys web site, with unique information pertaining to protective action recommendations as required by the agency for impending extreme hazards. (Optional)

Training and Education

In-service training on the National Incident Management System NIMS and the Incident Command System to assure NIMS compliance as required by HSPD 5 and 8, Federal and State agencies.
In-service training for management and staff on emergency plans, specific planning and operational considerations, and employee response and recovery concerns.

Addressing both public and private programs our out team will establish a common set of assessment criteria for disaster management, emergency management, and business continuity programs that fits your needs. These criteria may be used to evaluate current programs or to develop, implement, and maintain a program to mitigate, prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters and emergencies.

All work will conform to NFPA 1600 - Disaster/Emergency Management and Business Continuity Programs and all four phases of disaster/emergency management will be addressed: mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery.

We start with comprehensive hazard identification including, but is not limited to, the following types of potential hazards:

a) naturally occurring hazards that can take place without the influence of people and have potential direct or indirect impact on people, property, and the environment), and
b) human-caused events.

Develop a Continuity of Operations Plan incompliance with FEMA, EMAP and NFPA 1600 standards.
